Barbara Cosgrove is Vice President, Chief Privacy and Digital Trust Officer at Workday, a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources. During her tenure at Workday, Barbara has advocated for Workday globally on data protection matters, championed the company’s global data privacy strategy, and created Workday's initial AI governance program. Barbara also served as Chief Security Officer at Workday. Barbara is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the IAPP, and serves on the AI Leadership Council and Privacy Advisory Board of FPF. She co-chaired the Responsible AI Institute’s Employment Working Group. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) with extensive experience in building and leading international data privacy, ethics, security, technical compliance and HR compliance programs.
