Qualified lawyer graduated with honour in laws of England and Wales at the University of London. Additionally, holds two other academic degrees (in Law and History). Holds a number of professional credentials, including AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional), CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe) and CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) globally-recognised certifications from the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals). In 2022 was awarded by the IAPP with the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation.
Since January 2023 works as Head of Privacy and Senior Legal Counsel at Yango international group where manages privacy compliancy across more than 40 jurisdictions. Previously worked as Data Protection Officer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence (hereafter – AI) and Machine Learning Development at one of the largest banks, playing an important role in global AI technologies development. In this role was responsible for privacy management throughout AI lifecycle across the group of companies and ecosystem.
For about four years collaborates with European professional communities and consultant firms in providing international businesses with advice as well as delivering trainings for an international audience. Notably, contributed in design and launch of the educational program on UAE data protection framework and the European-first course on human-centric AI compliance (AICP-E). Delivers trainings, webinars and shares experience at conferences, summits, podcasts, webinars and other events and in numerous articles and interviews.
During the last five years has been at the forefront of cutting-edge digital technological regulation. In 2020 – 2022, working as governmental expert and adviser was deeply involved in global topical issues with particular focus on EU digital agenda, UK regulatory reform and development of the AI governance framework.
