Wouter Schild is serving as IBM’s Data Protection Officer in Europe and an Executive Senior Counsel at IBMs Regulatory Legal team. As a lawyer admitted to the Amsterdam Bar, he has over 20 years of experience in the field of legal & technology.

Throughout his career, Wouter has developed a keen interest in the societal impact of technology. He firmly believes that emerging technologies, when harnessed responsibly, have the power to transform our world and create positive change.

When he's not immersed in the world of technology and law, Wouter enjoys exploring his other passions, such travelling, sports including acting as fan for his daughters’ field hockey games.
