Gabriel Guimarães Barreto is a Partner at FiO Legal in Lisbon, where he leads the Data Compliance practice.

At FiO, he specializes in providing tailored legal services to international clients in the technology, Web3, and real estate sectors, helping global entrepreneurs and investors establish their presence in Portugal and Europe.

A graduate of PUC-Rio, Gabriel is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Business Sciences at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management.

His current research focuses on how large language models inherently memorize and retain personal data during training.
