Garro received the M.Sc. and PhD degrees in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, Spain, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. He is an R&D Project Manager with Prodevelop. His research activities are focused on next-generation IoT systems, with special focus on the logistics sector. Formerly, he was an R&D Enginner at Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM), where he participated on the standardization, planning and optimization of DVB-T2 and ATSC 3.0 networks. He was leading the 5G point-to-multipoint air interface design within the 5G PPP projects 5G-Xcast and 5G-TOURS, and also participated in the IMT-2020 evaluation of 5G.
