2022 Privacy Symposium Conference

The Privacy Symposium conference aims to support international dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge sharing on data protection by bringing together data protection experts and professionals, authorities, international organizations, and the research community to discuss the latest developments and perspectives related to data protection and privacy.

The conference is planned on April 5 to 7 2022 at Ca’ Foscari University, Venice, Italy, in the heart of the historic centre of Venice. 

The 2022 Privacy Symposium in Venice will focus on:

  • International cooperation and convergence in data protection regulations;
  • Emerging technologies and compliance with data protection;
  • Health and data protection compliance.

In addition, the conference has launched a call for papers. The best received contributions will be selected and presented during the conference and published by Springer. 

The event is co-organized by several partners, including the European Centre for Certification and Privacy (ECCP), the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), The Italian Institute for Privacy (IIP), The Italian Association for Cyber Security (CLUSIT), the IoT Forum, and various European research projects such as NGIOT.
