Christoph Bausewein is member of the board to the German Federal Data Protection Officer Association (BvD) who is founding member of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers (EFDPO). He serves CrowdStrike – a global leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection and workload protection – as Director & Counsel, Data Protection & Policy. Before joining the cloud industry, he had been DPO and inhouse counsel with various companies in healthcare and food & beverage industry. Christoph is attorney at law (Germany), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and Technologist (CIPT), and holds a PhD in data protection laws. As contributor to TeleTrust's / ENISA's Guideline "State of the Art", and author of various data protection and privacy related law books, he is very much involved with Privacy by Design.
