
Nasreen Djouini
Nasreen is the Acting Director with the Global Data Flows and Privacy Team at the U.S. International Trade Administration. In this position, she is part of the team that implements and promotes data privacy frameworks, such as the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and the APEC Cross-border Privacy Rules system, that facilitate data flows in support of digital trade. Nasreen also works on advancing internationally coordinated approaches to data privacy in multilateral forums as the U.S. co-Chair to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Working Party on Data Governance and Policy, and a U.S. delegate to Digital Economy Task Force to the Group of Twenty (G20), and Group of Seven (G7). Nasreen received her graduate degree in Public Policy from American University with a concentration on U.S. Foreign Policy.
