Jana is partner at Pierstone, a specialised law firm working in Central and Eastern Europe, focused on the TMT (technology/ media/ telecoms) sector

She is an active member of the European Federation of DPO (EFDPO) where she leads the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence. Jana is consistently ranked as a leading individual by independent legal directories, such as Legal500, Who’s Who Legal and Chambers Europe. Legal500 lists Jana in the Czech Republic’s Hall of Fame. Jana also received the prestigious Innovative Lawyer of the Year award for her pioneering role in promoting the deployment of new technologies in the legal industry and her advocacy of legal and ethical questions related to new technologies.

Jana studied law at the Charles University in Prague and holds post-graduate degrees from the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich and the University of London. Jana is based in Prague and has practiced in London, Paris and Bratislava. Jana is a member of the Czech and Slovak Bar Associations and an officer in the International Bar Association.
