Stephan Krenn is a senior scientist at AIT's cryptography group, which he joined in 2015, after having held positions at IST Austria and IBM Research – Zurich. He holds a master degree in mathematics from Vienna University of Technology, and a PhD in computer science from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He is co-author of numerous research papers in cryptography, mainly in the domain of privacy-preserving technologies, anonymous authentication, malleable digital signatures, or similar. Stephan is chair of the IFIP WG11.6 on Identity Management, and an active member of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 standardization groups on cryptography and privacy.
