Martina Ottavi has a master degree in Electronic Engineering for Space and Defence at University of Rome Tor Vergata, where she graduated in 2017.
Since then, she gained experience of space and satellite manufacturing industry by spending two years in Airbus UK working as a commercial payload system engineer, and then moving back to Italy to work for Thales Alenia Space as System Engineering Manager, supporting and leading several R&D programmes, both for military and civilian satellites applications.
She is currently covering the role of Product Line Architect for Quantum based space systems in the engineering department of Thales Alenia Space Telecommunication Domain in Italy where she is supporting the development of commercial solutions and products based on Quantum Key Distribution technologies.
