Pietro Randine is a PhD Candidate at the University of Tromsø (UiT) and a system developer at the Norwegian Centre for E-Health Research (NSE).

He holds an MSc and BSc both in Computer Science from the University of Milano Bicocca in Italy, with experience in IoT in medical applications for Diabetes. His research interests are in ICT and Artificial Intelligence for chronic diseases consultation.

He is also involved in two European projects: the HEIR project and LIFEBOTS Exchange.

His current work focuses on new functionalities for Diabetes consultations with a secure data exchange, storage, interaction between citizens, health personnel, and research institutions.
