Since 2016 Ursula Sury is Vice Director of Lucerne School of Information Technology in Rotkreuz where she is responsible for continuing education. She also Professor at the University of Applied Science of Central Switzerland for ICT and Data Protection Law. In addition she is a lecturer at various universities in the fields of data protection, IT law and governance. She was Vice-President of the Swiss german section of the “Association suisse de la sécurité de l’information (Clusis) from 2015 to 2018. Between 2010 and 2014 she was the Data Protection and Public Relations Officer of the canton of Valais. She also works as a specialist for data protection audits of the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS). As Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director she manages "Die Advokatur Sury AG" in which she also practices as a lawyer.
