
Javier Gutiérrez Meana
Dr Javier Gutiérrez Meana (male) received his Telecommunication Engineering and Ph.D. degree from the University of Oviedo in 2005 and 2010 respectively. He was with the University of Oviedo from 2006 to 2011. As PhD candidate and R&D Engineer he participated in several R&D projects with the European Space Agency, ArcelorMittal and Eurocopter among others, being the author/co-author of multiple papers in peer-reviewed magazines and conferences. In October 2011 he joined Treelogic SL. His work as R&D Project Manager focused on national and European funding programs, especially FP7 and H2020. He was the Project Coordinator of INSIDDE (FP7-ICT 600849), ARCHES (H2020-Societies 693229), ON TARGET (Eureka-Eurostars - E!7357) and the national project TECNIGRAF. He also led Treelogic’s team in the project SEMANGNITION. Since October 2018, he is with TREE Technology SA. His main activities include project and team management as well as elaboration of proposals in the field of ICT for European R&D programs. He was involved in the H2020 project iTrack (H2020-SEC 700510), APRIL (H2020-NMBP-FoF 870142) and VOJEXT (H2020-ICT 952197), and is currently participating in DECODER (H2020-ICT 824231) and IMPULSE (H2020-TRANSFORMATIONS 101004459) projects. He is the Project Coordinator of TRUST aWARE (H2020-SEC-101021377).
