Miltiadis Siavvas
Dr. Miltiadis Siavvas is a Post-doc Research Associate at the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas/Information Technologies Institute (CERTH/ITI). He holds a PhD in Software Security and Reliability from the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Imperial College London, under the supervision of Prof. Erol Gelenbe. He also holds a Diploma (Integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree) from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has participated in several EU-funded H2020 and FP7 projects from the role of task leader, including IoTAC, SDK4ED, Cloudlightning, and Movesmart. His main research interests lie in the fields of (i) software engineering, with emphasis on the quality, security, and reliability of software systems, (ii) artificial intelligence, with emphasis on Deep Learning for vulnerability prediction and quality forecasting, and (iii) mathematical modelling, with emphasis on computer systems. He has authored more than 30 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference proceedings. He has offered his services as a reviewer of scientific articles at several scientific journals including Knowledge-based Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, and Journal of System and Software.
