Harris Niavis (M) is a Research Scientist at Inlecom Innovation, leading the blockchain activities of the company. He received a B.Sc in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering and a M.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Thessaly, Greece. Lately, he was doing research at Yale University on the interchange of blockchain, decentralized Identities and IoT and he was leading the design and development of a decentralized platform for off-grid data exchange based on blockchain. He has 10 years' experience in EU Research projects as an engineer, a technical project manager, a coordinator and a consultant. His research interests lie in the areas of blockchain, decentralised technologies, distributed networks, wireless communications and IoT.
