Mr Filippo Cavallo

Prof. Filippo Cavallo MScEE, Phd in Bioengineering, is Associate Professor in Biomedical Robotics at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Florence, Italy, focusing on social robotics, human robot interaction, wearable sensors, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence for robot companion and healthcare applications. He is also head and scientific responsible of the BioRobotics Joint Lab at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy. He has participated in various National and European projects, and currently is principal investigator of the Pharaon H2020 project, about large scale pilot for active and healthy ageing, Olimpia Project with a focus on Parkinson disease, and scientific responsible for UNIFI of Metrics and Intride. He is author of various papers on conferences and ISI journals.
