Dr Subhasis Thakur is a research fellow and adjunct Lecturer at NUI Galway. He is leading research projects in applied cryptography and blockchains in various domains including supply chain management (Serialisation, e-pedigree maintenance, SC Optimisation), smart Grid Management (Renewable peer to peer energy trade and electric vehicles), cloud computing (security of edge networks, vehicular cloud), and fintech (high scale layer 2 blockchains-based payments). Dr Subhasis Thakur received his PhD and MPhil from Griffith University, Australia and University of Queensland, Australia. He has worked with University of Liverpool, UK and University of L’Aquila, Italy.
