Hannes Bauer is the CEO of the truzzt GmbH and also the CEO of the Orbiter.de GmbH truzzt GmbH.
In 1996 Hannes launched, the first German-language search engine "Kolibri". Cooperation partners were Pro7, a German broadcaster, and computer pioneer Silicon Graphics International.
In 2000 he filed a patent for a fingerprinting technology, a process for interactive communication between an Internet-capable browser and an Internet-capable web server. The docket number was DE: 10028 646.1
In 2011 he developed the “Empfehlen” portal for Deutsche Telekom. It was operated until 2016. In a joint venture with Bertelsmann from 2012 to 2016, this was a successful application for fraud prevention.
Earlier than others, the necessity of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) for data ecosystems was demonstrated with idento.one. Together with Infineon and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), the blockchain-based application Orbiterchain was presented at the Hannover Messe and at the Fira Barcelona.
Starting in 2022: In partnerships with Ionos, Atos, verifeye, Neuropil and others, a reliable infrastructure for interoperable data spaces based on European values, the truzztbox is being rolled out.
