Elena Maderna is an expert on personal data protection and compliance, with over 20 years of experience in BNP Paribas Group, where she held various roles in Compliance and as Deputy DPO for the Group’s entities based in Milan.
In January 2025, she has joined San Donato Group as Head of Data Protection within the Compliance Function.
Graduated in Business Economics and obtained severals certifications, including Data Protection Officer (UNI 11697:2017) and CIPP/E (IAPP). She is a member of Federprivacy and IAPP, and as Chair of the Technical Committee at AIBE (Italian Association of Foreign Banks), where she coordinated working groups on data protection in the banking sector.
