Alessandra Paolone is Institutional Affairs Officer for the Italian section of Amnesty International, and within the lobby & policy unit, she follows the advocacy activities related to the organisation's campaigns.

Among the various issues she deals with within her unit, for more than a year she has been working in particular on artificial intelligence and the impact of new technologies on human rights.

She represents Amnesty International Italy within the "Rete per i diritti umani digitali", the first informal coalition of Italian civil society organisations, whose main purpose is to promote and ensure adequate protection of human rights in the digital context.
