
Isabella Splendore
As Head of the Legal and International Affairs at FIEG (Italian Federation of Newspapers and Magazines Publishers), her areas of expertise include copyright and information law, in the context of the current digital revolution.
She coordinates publishing policies at national and international level and represents Italian publishers at European institutions and international associations, with particular attention to national and EU trends in the regulation of digital platforms.
Author of numerous publications, she regularly participates as a speaker at conferences and workshops. She is a lecturer at the faculty of "Economics and Management of Publishing Companies" of LUMSA University and at the Master in Journalism of LUISS Guido Carli University.
She is also member of Boards and Commissions at national and international level in the field of copyright and information, including WIPO, ENPA, PDLN and AGCOM. In 2011, she participated, as an Italian representative, in the Eisenhower Fellowships Multi Nation Program: an exclusive intensive program for professional and leadership development, provided by Eisenhower Fellowships (EF), a non-partisan and non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, chaired at the time by General Colin L. Powell. Founding member of the Eisenhower Fellowship Italian Association, in 2020 she was awarded the "Woman is Innovation" prize. In 2023, she managed the presentation of a joint FIEG/LUISS project against disinformation that was awarded by the Google.org Impact Challenge Tech for Social Good.
