Michaela leads the Policy and Regulation team, driving the development of industry-wide positions on critical issues such as connectivity, taxation, competition, security, and privacy, and orchestrating policy advocacy to enhance global connectivity and innovation. The team closely collaborates with all regional teams and commissions research to guide effective policymaking. She directly oversees policy work in North America. 

Previously, Michaela served as Vice President of Legal CPS and EU Affairs at Telia Company AB, where she led legal and strategic policy initiatives across the European Union. Before that, she managed regulatory and legal teams across various markets, from Nepal to Norway, gaining experience in diverse regulatory environments. 

Michaela holds an LLM in Law from Uppsala University, Sweden, with a focus on EU Competition Law, and a Bachelor of Commerce.
