Heini Ikävalko, Doctor of Science (Tech.), is a researcher at Aalto University School of Business, Center for Knowledge and Innovation Research (CKIR). She received her PhD at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, at Helsinki University of Technology. Before joining CKIR and the bIoTope project, she worked as post doc researcher at Aalto University Schools of Science, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Her research interests are in the field of innovation management, strategic management and organizational studies. Currently she studies firm strategies, business models and value creation in IoT ecosystems.
