Jan Van Cappellen is Chief Operations Officer at Hydroko. His role in the company is business development and smart metering expert. Jan holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). He has been active in drinking water production and supply for over 15 years now and has been the initiator and project manager of the smart metering project of Water-link in the city of Antwerp, resulting in the development of the HydroKonekt SmartValve©. His current proceedings involve full-scale smart metering IOT-projects and roll-outs in the drinking water industry.
