
Georgios Rousopoulos
Georgios Rousopoulos is an ICT specialist at the Hellenic Data Protection Authority serving as head of the Supervision Division.
He represents the Authority in several expert subgroups of the European Data Protection Board, he has been a member of several law making committees and working groups and he has contributed to the participation of the HDPA in several EU-funded projects (TRAIN GR-CY, ByDesign, ByDefault etc). He has worked as an external expert with ENISA, drafting reports and studies and he participated as a Short Term Expert in various European twinning and technical assistance projects in EU and candidate for EU countries.
Before joining the HDPA he was a researcher and an adjunct lecturer for the NTUA. He holds a diploma in Computer and Informatics Engineering from the University of Patras and a PhD in Informatics from the National Technical University of Athens.
