
Olivier Matter
Since 2017, Olivier Matter is Team Leader for International Cooperation within the Policy and Consultation Unit of the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS). He coordinates the involvement of the EDPS in the activities of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and is the coordinator of the Key Provisions Expert Subgroup of the EDPB. He also follows the activities and represents the EDPS in various international fora (Global Privacy Assembly, Council of Europe, OECD, workshop on data protection within international organisations, etc). Before joining the EDPS, he previously worked for the Council of Europe, within a national data protection authority and as a data protection lawyer.
