Dr./Professor/Mr. Heung Youl YOUM is an emeritus professor at Soonchunhyang University in Korea (Republic of). He is a chair of Korea CPO association since September 2024. He is a vice-chair for ITU-T TSAG since October 2024.
He was a Chair of ITU-T SG17 (security) from October 2016 to October 2024. He was a commissioner for Korea Personal Information Protection Commission from August 2020 to August 2023.
He received his PhD degree at Department of Electronics, Hanyang University, Korea *Republic of) in 1990.
