
Sabine Berghs is currently acting as the INTERPOL Data Protection Officer – Head of the Data Protection Office, Pro Tempore. She started her career at INTERPOL conducting research on new technologies, electronic evidence and data protection. When the first INTERPOL Data Protection Officer was designated, she joined the Data Protection Office from its inception and contributed to the development of its data protection programme. She has been monitoring operational compliance with INTERPOL’s data protection framework for the last ten years.
