The intersection of freedom of expression and religious beliefs is perhaps one of the most well-known and publicized topics in the last two decades. Addressing an incredibly important and topical issue, attendees will hear how the panelists perceive and have challenged the line between freedom of expression and restriction, from their own experience.

Key questions

  • When does an expression of faith become a violation of someone else’s right to freedom?
  • Can freedom of expression evolve in a neutral way that respects all religions equally, or is conflict over belief systems an inevitable part of any pluralistic society?
  • How can a balance be created?
