After a Law degree at University of Milan, Serena started her career in an international law firm in Milan. 

After the admission to bar and an Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi, Serena served as in- house counsel for multinational pharma companies in Switzerland. 

In 2009 she moved in Recordati and then -as Chief Legal and Compliance - she led the Italian Privacy Compliance Program in Reckitt Benckiser. 

In 2020 she joined Dompè farmaceutici SpA as Chief Legal Officer and DPO, overseeing legal and privacy matters related to clinical trials across the U.S., China, and Albania, as well as Series A financing and collaboration agreements with different biotech companies. 

Now, as General Counsel in Nerviano Medical Group, she is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to the executive team and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. She spearheads the legal aspects of strategic transactions, including, but not limited, to extraordinary operations with private investment funds and licensing agreements. She oversees quality, Intellectual protection filling, litigation, privacy issues and other key initiatives.  

Serena also acts as member of the Advisory Board (OdV) of the company.

Dopo il conseguimento della laurea in Giurisprudenza all’Università di Milano, Serena inizia la propria carriera in uno studio legale internazionale a Milano. 

Dopo il superamento dell’esame d’avvocato ed il conseguimento di un MBA in Bocconi, Serena ha lavorato come legale interno per società farmaceutiche in Svizzera. 

Nel 2009 si sposta in Recordati e, in seguito, in qualità di Chief Legal and Compliance, guida l’implementazione del programma di adeguamento GDPR per la Reckitt Benckiser. 

Nel 2020 si sposta in Dompè come Chief Legal e DPO occupandosi di tutte le problematiche di privacy relative agli studi clinici in US, Cina e Albania, così come di tutti gli aspetti legali legati ad operazioni straordinarie. 

Attualmente, in qualità di General Counsel del gruppo NMS, è responsabile di fornire pareri legali all’executive team e di assicurare la compliance legale del gruppo. Assiste e guida le operazioni straordinarie con fondi di investimento, fornisce pareri sulle problematiche privacy del gruppo, sulle tematiche IP e su tutte le iniziative strategiche della società. 

E’ membro interno dell’Organismo di Vigilanza.
