Prof Herke Kranenborg
Prof. Herke Kranenborg is a member of the Legal Service of the European Commission, working in the field of privacy and data protection. In that role he advises the Commission and its departments in these areas and represents the Commission in litigation before the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg. In addition, Herke Kranenborg holds a chair as professor in European Data Protection and Privacy Law at Maastricht University, situated in the Maastricht Centre for European Law (MCEL) and the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity (ECPC).
