Christos Panayi is an experienced Data Protection Specialist (LLM/LLB) currently working for the Global Privacy Office (GPO) of the World Food Programme (WFP) based in Rome Italy with previous experience at UNIDO, IAEA and the OSCE. He has a comprehensive background in implementing privacy frameworks, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, and acts as the technology lead of the GPO, managing data protection issues in the implementation of technologies across international organizations. He has expertise in policy development, privacy compliance, and Privacy Impact Assessments in the humanitarian sector.
