Christos Panayi is an experienced Data Protection Specialist with extensive experience in international organizations. He currently serves as a Data Protection Specialist and Technology Lead at the World Food Programme’s Global Privacy Office (GPO), working on data protection initiatives and technology-driven privacy solutions.

Previously, he served in various legal and data protection roles at prominent organizations such as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). His expertise spans conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), drafting and implementing data protection policies, managing legal agreements, and conducting privacy and cybersecurity reviews.

Christos holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from University College London and is certified in advanced data protection tools, including OneTrust DPIA automation.
