Marco Berlanda is the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the Group Cassa Centrale - Credito Cooperativo Italiano. He is responsible for monitoring the compliance of data processing carried out by the parent company and its affiliates, with the legislation on data protection and providing ongoing support in the daily management of "data protection" processes, including the provision of specific training sessions. He has held this role since April 2018. 

He has more than 25 years of consolidated experience in the banking industry. Prior to his role as a DPO he worked as Head of the ICT audit department of Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione, ensuring the supervision of the information systems and security of the Banks of Credito Cooperativo affiliated to Federazione Trentina. His career began as an auditor, later specializing in the role of IT auditor. He held this position for about 15 years before being appointed DPO. 

Marco graduated from Trento University in Business and Economics. He is Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001.
