Amit Gadhia is a dual-qualified lawyer, serving as both an Advocate in Kenya and a Solicitor in England, with over 26 years of experience in the legal sector. He is the managing partner of the international law firm ICLTC – Kenya, which boasts offices in Milan, Rome, Bologna, Amsterdam, Athens, Helsinki, Madrid, Paris, Lagos, Melbourne, Nairobi and Riyadh, along with partner law firms in 54 other countries. Amit's extensive experience and global reach make him a formidable force in the legal community. 

Amit is a globally trusted advisor for data protection, providing expert guidance to both Kenyan and international organizations. His clientele includes airlines, national retailers, and major infrastructure projects, reflecting his diverse and comprehensive expertise. Notably, Amit has advised the Government of Kenya on privacy matters and is an accredited external auditor with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya. He continues to be engaged by the Government of Kenya as an advisor and speaker on data protection issues, further cementing his reputation as a leading authority in the field. 

In addition to his practical experience, Amit holds several prestigious certifications. He has a law degree from Cardiff University, Wales, UK and Certified Global Privacy Officer (ECPC-G), a Certified International Privacy Professional (Europe), and a Global Data Protection Officer trainer with the European Centre for Privacy and Cybersecurity. Furthermore, he is a Visiting Fellow with Maastricht University. His commitment to continuous learning is exemplified by his recent completion of an Artificial Intelligence Governance program with the IAPP in the United States.
