Borja leads the EU and Competition Law practice of FIELDFISHER Spain, with more than 20 years of experience in advising companies and public entities in the assessment of all kind of competition law issues. He regularly assesses companies in antitrust “dawn raids” and in EU, national and regional antitrust infringement procedures, including investigations of restrictive agreements, cartels, and abuse of dominant position, as well as merger control procedures. He also has a relevant experience in relation to EU State aid law and internal EU market. Borja regularly lectures at different Spanish universities and legal institutes and is the author of several articles on specialized competition la publications. He has been a member of the Board and Secretary of the Spanish Association for the Defense of Competition for the last six years.
