CLEAN

CLEAN facilitates high-value cooperation between parties, by bringing members closer to markets, customers, and peers. As a nonprofit entity, CLEAN does not directly “close deals” and negotiate commercial contracts, rather we facilitate cooperation between different domains creating tangible outcomes for all parties involved. As a “triple helix” cluster, CLEAN has members from the public sector, the private sector, and research institutions. This means, that CLEAN create collaborations across the sectors and domains which leads to innovation, deals being closed, and solutions being implemented. CLEAN has 134+ members and is governed by a Board of Directors with representatives appointed by our core members. CLEAN is officially labelled a GOLD cluster according to the standards for cluster excellence adopted by the European Commission. This testifies that CLEAN meets certain “levels of excellence” in terms of structure of the cluster, governance, financing, strategy, services and recognition.
