Ms. Kari Laumann
Kari Laumann is Head of division for Technology and Analysis at the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. AI has been part of her portfolio over several years, including an early report on the intersection between data protection regulation and AI in 2018. In 2020 she had the lead in building Regulatory Sandbox for Privacy and Artificial Intelligence. The sandbox is one of several initiatives in the Norwegian Government’s National Strategy for AI where the aim is to stimulate innovative and responsible AI.
