
Liina Kamm received her PhD in computer science (cryptography) from the University of Tartu in 2015. She is a senior researcher and project lead in Cybernetica AS, an Estonian company that has designed the cryptographic underpinnings for Estonian e-government innovations. She started her professional career designing software for the Estonian Genome Foundation and for cross-border clinical trials. Now, her research focuses on enabling privacy-preserving statistical analysis for social sciences and genomics. She is the chairman of Technical Committee 4 (Information technology) of the Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation, and represents Estonia in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 Working Groups 2 and 5.
