Ms Maria Rita Sechi
Maria Rita Sechi graduated in Law and Canon Law and then specialized in the supranational protection of Fundamental Rights through a second-level Master in “Studies on the International Community” and working on these issues for about two years at the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Department for Institutional Reforms of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. For more than fifteen years he has been a lecturer at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where he holds seminars on fundamental rights.
At the Campus Bio-Medico University he has gained experience in the role of Program Manager for accreditation with the International Joint Commission, taking care in particular of the standards regarding data protection. In the same role, she dealt with procedures, compliance and staff training. Since 2018 he has been in charge of Data Protection at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and then also at the Campus Bio-Medico University Polyclinic Foundation.Since 2019 she has been a member of the Coordination Table of Data Protection Officers of Universities (CODAU). Currently she is president of the Permanent Comparison Table of Data Protection Officers of Healthcare and Hospital Companies of the Lazio Region.
