Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Acker started in 2013, serving in data management roles before joining the Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties in 2018 where she focuses on a wide portfolio including running a traditional privacy program, civil liberties protections, and the intersection of privacy and AI.

Ms. Acker graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2013 2ith a Juris Doctorate with a Health Law Certificate after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in Theater with a focus in scenic design. 

Ms. Acker is also an adjunct professor of Data Privacy and Cybersecurity at American University’s Washington College of Law for the Master of Laws program and a faculty member at the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
