I am a legal practitioner and researcher with techno-legal background, passionate about new technologies and their legal and societal implications. Presently, I am pursuing a joint PhD program, merging the fields of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pisa and Law and Technology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Specializing on privacy engineering, data and cyber-security, my area of expertise encompasses data portability and governance, privacy risk management, data protection, and ICT contracts. My primary objective in research is to bridge the gap between technology and law, serving as a critical link to facilitate mutual understanding and collaboration. I am currently exploring the concept of data portability in regulations such as the Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, Data Act, and GDPR, with a focus on unlocking its potential within a legal digital economy framework.
