Mrs. Angela-Maria Despotopoulou (F) is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer by the Research and Innovation Development (RID) Department of NETCOMPANY INTRASOFT. She participates in EU-funded research projects, primarily revolving around Industry 4.0 Applications (Predictive Maintenance, Zero-Defect Manufacturing, Human-Centric AI Systems) and Security of Internet-of-Things platforms.

Her main area of expertise is the implementation of Enterprise Back-End Applications. Possesses strong background in Application Development, Microservices, Database Design, Testing Frameworks, Infrastructure Design, Software Integration and Decision Support Systems. Her academic interests include Distributed Ledger technologies, Fintech and Innovation Management. Mrs. Despotopoulou was awarded her Bachelor’s degree in Informatics by the Athens University of Economics and Business (2008) and afterwards pursued a Master’s degree in Advanced Software Engineering by the University of Sheffield (2019).
