
PhD in Public Law from the University of Genova, he directs his research interests towards topics such as constitutional emergencies, the relationship between technology and fundamental rights, and penitentiary law.
At StraLi, he coordinates the teams ‘Digital Rights’, ‘Environment and Future Generations’ and represents the association in the Digital Human Rights Network coalition (Rete Diritti Umani Digitali).
He is the author of the report ‘Mapping the use of facial recognition technologies in Italy. A research on the practices of Police Headquarters, Public Prosecutors' Offices, and Municipalities’, conducted for StraLi and funded by the Digital Freedom Fund, and co-author of the article ‘Il Viminale ci tiene all’oscuro su come e quanto usa il sistema di riconoscimento facciale’, published on IrpiMedia.
