Professor Dr. David J. Langley is senior scientist at TNO, the largest applied research institute in the Netherlands, and also Professor of Internet, Innovation and Strategy at the University of Groningen. Working in the area of internet innovations since 1991, He leads applied research projects connecting the digital and sustainability transitions to strategic organisational challenges. His work has been applied in a wide variety of industries, including telecoms, healthcare, energy and manufacturing. He has been columnist for the Dutch Financial Times writing about the societal implications of internet technologies, and my academic research has been published in leading journals, including Journal of Business Research. He is elected co-chair of the Innovation Ecosystems working group of the European Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (https://aioti.eu/), and program chair of the IEEE International Workshop on Smart Circular Economy (https://sites.google.com/view/smace2021/).
