Irene Sánchez has a vast experience in pharmaceutical business development in Latin America and in supporting entrepreneurs to bring their innovative ideas into successful businesses. She is a Pharmacist with a Master’s degree in Creation and Management of Innovative Technology-based Companies from University of Barcelona, and has completed several specialized training programs in Management, Sales and Venture Capital Investment.

She joined EIT Health Spain as Business Creation Manager in February 2018.  As part of the Business Creation Core Group, Irene works closely with Spain start-ups and SMEs to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the health field, provide advice and guidance, and promote their successes.
