Marian Pletosu is Strategy Project Officer working on AI, Banking, IoT and Smart Cities initiatives at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). With over 7 years of experience in ICT strategy in trade and event management, he previously served as Programme Management Officer at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), working closely with policy makers in least developed and developing countries and supporting them to formulate policies that enhance innovation particularly in digital trade and the digital economy. Mr. Pletosu has a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
