
Guido Girardi
Mr. Girardi is a physician from the University of Chile and founder of Congreso Futuro, the most important annual scientific outreach event in Latin America. Throughout his career, he has served as Director of the Sanitary and Environmental Service of the Metropolitan Region, a parliamentarian, and President of the Senate.
He has also met with prominent figures from academia and the global scientific community to promote innovative legislation aimed at improving people's lives. Many of these laws have even been adopted in other parts of the world, such as the Constitutional Reform enshrining Neurorights and the Front-of-Package Labeling
Law that warns against the excess of critical nutrients, to name a few. He currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of the Fundación Encuentros del Futuro, which is the producer of Congreso Futuro annual session.
