Mauro has been dealing with ICT since 1989 and cybersecurity and data protection since 1996.

He has been part of the faculty of the Advanced Training Course for Data Protection Officers at Cefriel – Politecnico di Milano from 2018 to 2020.

He is a member of Clusit – Italian Association for Computer Security; he served on its Management Board from 2006 to 2022, and now sits in its Scientific Committee.

He graduated in 1995 at the Politecnico di Milano in electronic engineering (with a focus on bioengineering and healthcare), and in 2009 obtained an "Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership" at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Part of the team that founded Rexilience in 2021, his career has been entirely in high technology companies (software, systems integration, telecommunications, industrial automation, logistics), designing innovative projects, and managing their implementation, on behalf of companies ranging from large multinationals to SMEs.

His areas of responsibility have touched Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East; he speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.

He speaks in the national and industry media, and has held sessions on IoT, GDPR, Business Continuity, physical security, and so on. Its conference activity is aimed both at specialists in the sector and, at an informative level, at schools and civic initiatives.
